Ingredients (Serves 4-5)
1 bowl cold yogurt
1 cup dry boondi
1 tsp cumin powder
A pinch of asafoetida powder(hing)
1/2 tsp red chilly powder (optional)
A pinch of black pepper powder
A pinch of black salt powder
Table Salt to taste
Method
- Whisk yogurt so its light and creamy, for 2 minutes.
- Add in water to suit the consistency according to your liking.
- Add all the spices leaving cumin powder.
- Add boondi and mix well.
- Garnish with cumin powder and serve chilled.
- Optionally you can add chopped corrainder leaves and mint leaves too for an extra flavor.
